| Travel |
| | Company |
| | 5 Puppeteers |

| | Load In |
| | Load in will start promptly 2 1/2 hours before curtain. Please have all crew on call in the theater at that |
| | time. |
| | Parking |
| | Please be sure that parking is available at our time of arrival. Due to our short load-in time we will need as |
| | much time on stage as possible. |
| Lights |
| | Crew Requirements |
| | Two Stage Hands are REQUIRED in the wings for Ferdinand the Bull. They will assist in handling |
| | scenery during the show, and are expected to be on hand for load-in and load-out as well. |
| | Lighting Script |
| | A script will be supplied which follows the narration and major action of the show. The board operator |
| | calls the lighting cues from the script. |
| | Specials |
| | The tree Ferdinand sits beneath is rolled to a position just downstage of center. A warm pool with a leaf |
| | gobo can be used to illuminate the area just downstage of this set. Sunrise and sunset specials are |
| | described below under "Washes". |
| | Washes |
| | We expect the theater to have a warm and a cool wash as part of their standard lighting plot. The lighting |
| | script calls for sunrise and sunset specials, which can be achieved by using amber high side light from stage |
| | left for the sunrise and amber high side light from stage right for the sunset. |
| Sound |
| | Microphone |
| | A hand-held microphone will be needed for an onstage demonstration at the conclusion of the |
| | performance. |
| | Music |
| | Ferdinand the Bull is a narrated dance piece. A CD runs the entire duration of the show without |
| | interruption. |
| Scenery |
| | Drapery |
| | The stage must have masking: a black traveler or cyclorama upstage with a crossover and at least 2 legs |
| | stage left and 2 legs stage right. |
| | Sets |
| | The sets and puppets for Ferdinand the Bull will be assembled by the cast on arrival at the theater. The |
| | crew will be needed to assist in setup. The sets ride on free-standing frames on casters and are up to 9 feet |
| | tall. |
| | Stage Dimensions |
| | Our minimum stage requirements are: 20 feet deep by 35 feet wide. |
| | Wing Space |
| | The show features very large puppets and the full-grown Ferdinand is nine feet long from head to tail. We |
| | also have puppets on rolling bases that ride in from the wings. The wings must allow at least nine feet |
| | clear offstage with unimpeded acess to the performing area. |
| Hospitality |
| | Dressing Rooms |
| | When we arrive, all dressing rooms should be ready for use. We need one room for men and one room for |
| | women, equipped with chairs, mirrors, toilet, and running water. |
| | Food |
| | Drinkable water we absolutely must have backstage. |
| | We would also appreciate these provisions: |
| | Coffee (decaf as well, if possible,) tea, fruit juice, water. |
| | Bagels or other similar carbohydrates. |
