This puppet opera is based on
a Spanish folk tale about a cap seller who falls asleep under a tree.
Monkeys steal his caps, then imitate his every move. The peddler turns the
tables on the monkeys by tossing his cap in the air, and the monkeys follow
suit.

Using the puppets and scenery from Monkey See, Monkey Do, we have
honed the show down to a three-person program based on the familiar
children's story Caps for Sale. The Three Billy Goats Gruff
round out the program in a show that promotes a fun and inventive way to
support early reading.
