Caps for Sale & The Three Billy Goats Gruff

This is a large scale puppet portrayal of Esphyr Slobodkina’s popular tale of the trials of the cap salesman who fell asleep under a tree and woke up without his wares and how he ends up retrieving them from the mischievous and playful monkeys.

Following right after, our Bunraku styled puppeteers and puppets perform the Norwegian based fairy tale “The Three Billy Goats Gruff”. Here we follow the three increasingly large billy-goats in their attempt to cross a bridge in defiance of an obnoxious ogre.

Our production involves creative extensions of the stories, along with call and response moments that involve audience members as storytellers, helping to drive the story forward.

Our adaptations of "Caps for Sale" and "The Three Billy Goats Gruff" are both designed for elementary schools, stages, and theaters of up to 1000 seats.

With a cast of just three performers this is an affordable alternative to our larger theatrical productions.
